2009 IS HERE!

If you've been looking in on our blog, sorry that it hasn't had nothing new on for a while. We're up & running again now, and looking forward to an action packed 2009!

We've got our next "Happy Night" event coming up a week on Friday (30th), on Friday 13th of Feb we're going to an event at Swallownest. And the night after that, Saturday 14th of Febuary, we have what is sure to be a fantastic event here at Station Road.

Febuary 14th is of course Valentines Day. And we want to really drive God's message of love home at this event.

We are hosting a team from "New Generation,"an organisation that exists for the purpose of equipping, challenging, encouraging & teaching youth to reach their peers.

Whether you are at School, College or Uni, this event is for YOU!

It promises to be a great night, as well as hearing from Brad, New Generations "main man" in the UK, there will be worship, feedback opportunities & plenty time to hang out with people from other youth groups.

If you want to know more about New Generation, see the links section on this page. Or view the video on an earlier post.

If you need any more info, please get in touch.

Scottish Invasion!

Last weekend, part of Fraserburgh A.O.G's youth group came to visit.
They stayed in the church for 2 nights.

We had a fantastic time with them & hope to have them visit again in the not too distant future.
Our only dissapointment was that there wasn't more "local youth" on hand to add to the weekend.

As well as helping out at the churches open day on the Saturday, they also contributed to Sunday morning worship & the event we had on Saturday night.
We put on some seminars for them on Saturday morning under the theme of "Adventure" which went reall well :)

Some of their leaders were a little bit scary.........

But thankfully he didn't do any harm :)

Our next date on the calendar is HAPPY NIGHT.
This month, Happy Night is on Friday the 28th.
Trevor Charlton from Sheffield is the speaker this time.
It's sure to be as mad as ever! So don't miss it.

Equip 1 is going well on Sunday nights.
It is a basic discipleship course teaching the foundational aspects of christianity.
U can still come, even though it has began.
Meet in the small hall at 7:45pm on Sunday Nights.

Also!!!, advanced notice that there will be a kids/youth christmas production in the church @ 4pm on December 21st.

C ya!

DEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

We were recently asked if we would do a service for Bethesda fellowship in a place called Swallow Nest.
Their fellowship is without a pastor at the moment. So we agreed to help them out.

A good number of our youth went out to Swallow Nest this past Sunday night.
One of our leaders "Matt Morris" shared his testimony.

He did really well, and laid a great foundation for Stuart to bring the message!

6 people responed to the gospel.

Two of these were re-commitments. And possibly two of the remaining four were just cementing previous commitments.

Four of the six concerned were from our own youth.

Needless to say we were all BUZZIN!

The momentum is continuing to build and we just can't wait till the Delirious concert on Thursday night.

There's so much coming up in the next 6 weeks.

As well as the Delirious concert we'll have 2 Happy nights, a visit from a Fraserburgh youth group and Equip 1(which is a 6 week discipleship course in basic Christianity)will be starting this Sunday night.

If you're not on the journey with us, get connected!!!

HAPPY NIGHT REVIEW

Happy night went really, really well. In fact, it was FANTASTIC!

We invited Rother Valley Youth down. And their Youth Leader Chris Jeavons spoke.

We also had some of the usual madness as u will see in the photos!

Lookin forward 2 Delirious on the 23rd.

That will be followed up by the next happy night on October 31st

Before all that though is the first of hopefully many "Mobile Youth" events.

On Sunday 19th of October the Youth will be taking the evening service at Swallow Nest.

See a leader for more info on any of the above.
