It was like a fair, with Christian music and fellowship.
Stuart drove the mini bus to Wakefield with the aid of the tom-tom, where we were greeted with a back gate to a school. After a phone call or two, a boy appeared from this gate then ran along side the bus till we reached the right side of our destination... He literally ran the whole way and kept up till we were a few houses away....
Anyway. As we were driving into the school, the bus decided it didn't want to move anymore. so stopped. the bouncy castle was then carefully rolled off the bus and onto the school field.
whilst there we helped on two stalls:
- the guess how many sweets in a jar stall
- the guess the weight of the cake stall
we also had a look round the stalls and took part in nearly all of them. there were lots of stalls from huck'a'duck to a mini golf stall were you had to put 3 golf balls into different wholes with numbers on them, to get the highest score.
At the end of the fair there was a presentation of prizes and then we had to role up the bouncy castle, which was a bit of a challenge as it had to be re-folded a couple of times.when we were all safely in the mini bus, we were pushed by Ant and a couple more kind gentlemen to jump-start it.
today was really good, and we had lovely whether. praise the lord!
